TRUE SUFFERING

Merry Christmas and Many Kismat!!!

TRUE SUFFERING is not LACK but DENYING yourself despite the options

Where you are, who you are, what you have is it a choice
if it was
it doesn't matter how much you make, who you know, you will still maintain.

we keep using 'if' and 'when' alot

TRUE SUFFERING is not LACK but DENYING yourself despite the options

when you have less and choose to share, even when you have an abundant you will do the same.
in one of my songs 'Hela' i said 'wako church juu waezi afford club'

maybe we are faithful, loving, caring, patriotic, God fearing and all the good stuffs
simply because we haven't gotten a situation or a position to be otherwise!

TRUE SUFFERING is not LACK but DENYING yourself despite the options

KITANDA YANGU 4 by 6 my Interpretation!

What happens when your back is against the wall.

When you cannot run anymore.

When you run out of options.

When you have to explain to your Kids.
‘Toto vumilia ugali hii salary ingenunua nyama but nalipa taxes MP walipe entertainment allowances’ Painfully explain to your kids that paying taxes is the only reason you cannot afford a piece of meat in the butchery, taxes that hardly guarantee you services from the government.

When a young man have to prove to his in laws that he can take care of their daughter despite the not encouraging economic conditions
‘Sisemi atakula nyama kila siku but na promise tumbo yake haitalala bila kitu’

When you have to settle for less just to cover your dignity
‘chicken ama beef bora kushiba, suti ama jeans bora kufinika uchi’

When a young woman has to endure cold nights to earn for her kids
‘wengine wanavaa tight, wanavaa less ku advertise goods kwa dudes’

‘Bulb ikiwaka kwa kichwa utalipa KPLC kwa kila good idea nothing for free’
Your ideas do not hold weight you are young , you are a risk, you get manipulated, used despite your qualifications.

YOU GET THE POINT!

Many of us react differently to this but the most common effect among human beings is degrading ourselves to MONSTERS just to survive.

Kitanda yangu  4 by 6 portrays restrain, a guy find himself in an odd position hence the bed in a basement. Suddenly he gets chased by people who clearly have no good intentions.
The chase ensues but eventually the young man played by Juliani find himself in a place of no return, his back against the wall. The man is left with no choice but to release the monster within .

This is evident in our society when teachers, doctors have to protest and strike just to be heard.
When people have to kill, mob justice just because we have had unpleasant encounter with the judiciary.
When the human race have nothing to loose.http://youtu.be/T2RudCOBsrI

RINDASHIP ama LEADERSHIP

My Real names are Julius owino, i grew up in the then most dangerous slum Dandora or Dandara-depending on where you come from. My child hood was simple, education was my parents way of getting me out, Gangstas had the coolest shoes had the most beautiful chicks, MYSA football club was a right of passage.

Amidst all this i did not fit in, as in i didn't have guts to carry a gun, i was a bright chap but wasn't that good in biology BRAIN CELLS. until i met hip hop the art of words, exchange currency for my thoughts BRAIN SELLS.

Fast forward a couple of years later with hair growing in other parts of my body.
I realised music was my way out so i tirelessly work on my craft being inspired by my fav poet of all time KITU SEWER but sooner than later it came to my understanding It takes more than talent to get to my destiny, thank God i took some computer packages so i became busy doing research online and reading books on Music business.

Many awards later, traversing through the world, building my own and becoming successful, it has become a reality to me that it takes more than TALENT, BUSINESS ACUMEN all this don't make sense or cannot produce much if POLITICALLY thing are not in place. maybe later i will go in details of this implications.

Why do i say RINDASHIP Rinda is swahili for dress or skirt, our politics is filled with UMAMA out of respect.
It is all about who slept with who politically who is more this that. everybody is playing survival tactics nobody is talking on development and Growth.
But why should we blame the leadership yet they are a clothe from the fabric of society.

To all who are reading this unless we get involved and make things right all our efforts will never produces deserving results.

The 4gotten principle of 2 STONES 1 BIRD.

I think we really need to look into some of the saying like 'killing two birds with one stone'  to some it means using limited resources to get the highest result ama Ujanja.
To me?
It really implies 'greed', 'glutton', 'laziness', 'opportunist' it sounds the same as 'striking while the rod is hot'
This statements do not appreciate the need to be prepared, patience, hard work, professionalism.

I dont think we should sell this to our kids, may be something like 'killing one bird with two stones' can work because this promotes artistry, working on your craft until you perfect the art to realize its potential.

If you throw one stone and miss, it doesn't mean you are not good enough but that you have another chance and that you can improve on your shot!!!!

Allowing yourself to make mistakes while at it.
words ngumu ngumu kama 'resilience'  will start making sense.

KUMBE.

Kumbe the problem was not potholes or bad roads explain why this Matatus and passenger buses still overlap on Thika road just coz their is traffic.
Kumbe its not the harsh surrounding that compels someone from the Mtaa to ask 'Niachie ka kitu', juu in cooperates ni lugha ina change 'what is in it for me'
Kumbe MP is not just a biological body process women go through.
Kumbe break downs break down!!
Kumbe the Strength needed to throw a stone doesn't take a full stomach but can be fueled by hunger

Ofcourse infrastructure, conducive environment that the gova supposed to provide is necessary for growth na watu kujiendeleza but the question is, are minds ready for those changes, are we prepared.

I imagine the guy who discovered weed was a farmer who was tired of sorting out the menace that destroyed his crops and ended up rolling it in a paper and smoking it.

Am trying to put across that, we deal with change in the best way we know how, respond to new challenges with old solution.Vision 2030, Constitution, reformed Judiciary ni kama kisu, some will use it as a weapon some as a utensil. the underling factor remains our intentions and mindset determine a lot.

Masomo ya Litmus paper

As i write these words somewhere in this country there are educated brilliant young Kenyan minds jobless, idling sitting on a stone waiting for a news camera and utter these hopeless typical words 'Naomba serikali'. On the other hand a youth with qualifications beating the sun to wake up trek to industrial area complain on low pay or no pay at all. every one of them have legit just reasons justifying their situations and on the other...other....other hand a crop of young Kenyans reaping from choosing to have a different 'kajaribus' approach of their ideas.

A mango on a mango tree is free but the same mango if its made into a juice packaged and on a supermarket shelf is worth a good amount.
Innovation is not necessarily something out of this world its just an improved version, better, faster, user friendly better yet a solution to a situation in your community.
Innovation is finding opportunity where its not likely to be. using acquired information translate to a practical action that will make you, your community lives better,  for profit.

A university student understands a chemical reaction can be proved by the changing or the not changing in color of the litmus paper, practical interpretation, in maize roasting, make sure it doesn't 'shura' keep turning it on the wire-mesh, while you 'pepeta' and set up where there is pedestrian traffic.

basically instead of sitting at home complaining there no jobs, create a job, apply what you know for profit!!!!

Old wine skin expired wine.

Politics in Kenya is being carried out in a way that any solution provided, is attractive to the justice starved Kenyans, that is why the euphoria heckles pushing for young leadership overtakes the voice of reason and sense.

Kenyan politics can be described as a Mende manifested kitchen that Ridsect cannot get rid of.
It breeds diseases that makes docile our hard work, hustle, university degrees that can only rembesha the walls of our parents homes.

These scenarios leave us with two critical options, either give up and follow the status quo or take the challenge and make the best out of this situation.

Maoni ya hommie ka mimi ni hii

Encourage young people to engage in the political arena not as 'mabuda' would but an informed, issue based interactions that will lead to strengthening institutions, a liquid can only take shape of a vessel that it is poured into.

We should not expect a savior(except the second coming of Jesus Christ), instead shape the thinking of the young people and trust they'l make an informed forward thinking decisions.
